We connected with an old friend, crashed rehearsals for Lexington’s Fourth of July festivities and visited the Kentucky Horse Park (1032 acres dedicated to, and honoring of, Lexington’s tradition in horse racing, breeding and education).

(foaled April 18, 1990), American Thoroughbred racehorse, who in 1995 and 1996 became the first American racehorse racing against top-class competition to win 16 consecutive races since Citation. Cigar retired as the leading money earner in Thoroughbred racing history and was later inducted into the National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame.

Weight gain can be very damaging to a horse. Often they will put them is a ‘dry’ lot to ‘not eat’.
